Additionally, we employ our team’s expertise to seek opportunities to provide “extra benefits” without sacrificing “necessities” or incurring additional costs.

Sustainable design practices are not only a desired goal but have become a necessity. Sustainability means reducing the negative impact of construction on the environment and enhancing the performance of built systems, operations, and of the end user.

USGBC established the Leadership in Environmental and Efficient Design (LEED) rating system and guideline to help professionals improve the quality of buildings and lessen their impact on the environment.

Design Plus principals are active members of both local and national chapters of USGBC. There is also an in-house research program with dedicated personnel creating a sustainable systems and materials library. Both Rupal and Manny are in the process of acquiring their LEED Accredited professional status.
